  4. Download or share: Preview the finished card, download it as a PNG, or use Share to open the system share menu with the image and card link.

Creative Ideas

Morse code adds a layer of mystery and discovery to an ordinary message. Use your card for:

  • A secret message only the recipient can decode
  • A birthday, holiday, or anniversary greeting
  • A special note for a geek or Morse code enthusiast
  • A distinctive image for chats or social media
  • A visual aid for learning and remembering Morse code

Customization, Export, and Privacy

Choose whether to show the original message and labels, then adjust the font, size, text color, background, and icon. Backgrounds can use a solid color, gradient, or custom image, while icons can be repositioned, resized, and made more or less transparent.

PNG is ready for messaging and social media, and the Share action can pass the generated image directly to supported apps.

Cards are generated in your browser. Uploaded backgrounds and icons remain in browser memory and are included in the generated PNG, but they are not added to shared card links. Shared links may include the message and style settings, so make sure the content is appropriate for anyone who receives the link.

How should I format Morse code?

Use dots . and dashes - to form characters, spaces to separate letters, and / to separate words. For example, ... --- ... represents SOS.

What does the Share button include?

Share sends the generated PNG, a short invitation, and the current card link to the system share menu. The receiving app may choose how to display those items.

Can I make a Morse code card on my phone?

Yes. The generator works directly in modern desktop and mobile browsers, with no installation required.
